Letting you all know, the clubhouse will start being demolished next week. Anyone wanting to go down for one last look or get any photos. You won't be able too get close to the clubhouse though, as it is fenced off. Thanks
In line with the Queensland State Government Covidsafe Roadmap released last Friday, we can confirm that Community Sport IS NOT included in Stage 1 of the Queensland Government Roadmap to Easing Queensland’s Restrictions (🔗 link below).
Gatherings of up to 10 people are to be informal and not part of any formally organised activity attached to a state, regional or club based sporting organisation.
Community Sports Clubs are specifically referenced in Stage 2 of the policy which will commence after the 12th June 2020. As such please note that the current suspension of Community Rugby activity is still active in Queensland.
We are working closely with Queensland Rugby, who are in consultation with the Queensland Government and other State Sporting Organisations as we approach Stages 2 & 3 of the Queensland Government Roadmap to easing restrictions.
To date, our team has looked at all options for the 2020 season with the aim of providing clubs the opportunity to play in a safe and enjoyable environment.
Rest assured we will keep you updated on the status of the season as planning evolves.
Thanks for your support of our programs and competitions and we look forward to being back in touch with further updates in due course.
